There should be proper celebration and trophy presentation after a cup or league win i.e there should be the presentation of the bronze, silver and golden boot, player of the season e.t.c. The amount placed on a player in the transfer window should be realistic.Ħ. The manager mode should be more realistic just like the fifa manger series( especially like fifa manager 11).ĥ. Players should have the ability to create a club with finance in order to buy players and also the ability to create stadiums.Ĥ. Addition of more football leagues and countries, I am a nigerian and there is no Nigeria amongst the internationals.ģ.
Fifa manager 11 vs 12 series#
Undoubtebly FIFA is the best soccer series ever and it can definitely be better, how? that’s easy, all the design and management team have to do is ġ. Hi EA sports, first of all, FIFA! I love it and I am sure that I am not the only one who wants to love it even more. I’m Dutch, so forgive grammatical errors, but thanks for adding the Dutch 3rd division Topklasse. These were my suggestions and thanks for reading. A Chelsea-coach in the CL-final isn’t going to sign in the bulgarian 2nd division… Last but not least, I continuesly get offers from lower teams. I also had a good financial result, so I didn’t understand.Īlso, play-off systems for either European Qualification or promotion/regelation matches would be a great addition. In the latest version I got sacked while I just qualified to the CL and won the domestic cup. They might also push the board to sign a player or that they must keep the player in any case. They can have a bad or a good influence, which may cause an UEFA punishment, like a home match without support. Now you only have 5 standard categories, but at that time you had a list of items like pens, shirts, mousepads and a yearbook etc.įurther I’d like to see more influence from the supporters. Barca isn’t winning with 1-0 against an amateur team in Holland, but with 11-0.Īlso a couple of things from TCM 2004 must return, like their personal life.Ī better merchandising system (like in 2004) is also a must. Last year's entry, Football Manager 2013, became the series' best-seller after shifting more than 1 million copies, despite being pirated more than 10 million times.I’d like to see more realistic results when you’re playing against a lower league club in for example pre-season matches. While EA supported the FIFA Manager series across a decade, it never made a significant impact against the genre steamroller that is Sega's Football Manager. When all these factors were evaluated, it led us to the decision to blow the final whistle." Moreover, FM had reached a crossroads at which a new engine and/or corresponding online technology would be the only way to give the series a boost. The niche market and general trend toward online and mobile games were also contributing factors. "The football manager genre at this level of sophistication is highly specialized and primarily played in two countries (England and Germany)," Köhler wrote, "In which – on top of everything – one game has practically dominated the market in recent years. In a frank post published on the FIFA Manager blog, Köhler admitted the 12-year series needed too much investment to be worth continuing. The recently released FIFA Manager 14 is the last in the series, after founder Gerald Köhler admitted EA and developer Bright Future weren't prepared to take the series forward.
